Sega’s iDog
![]() |
What do you get when u cross Aibo with iPod? Sega’s latest cool gadget called iDog. Costing around USD40, it is one of the top selling Christmas gifts in 2005. A new iDog can be trained the way you want it to behave and it responds emotionally when touched. Different coloured lights come on dependent upon the emotions that the iDog displays. How do you feed this guy? |
The first method is to put him at a source of music where he will respond to the music using a builtin microphone. The other method is to use the iDog as an mp3 speaker system by hooking a digital audio player into it. It can dance to the beat of the music as well.
Altogether it is a great gift for gadget girlfriends who loves music as well as pets. It can function as a portable speaker for your audio player. Its the lower end of robotics but for around USD40 it is pretty cool.
