Hard Riddle
What’s greater than God, more evil than the Devil, the poor have it, the rich need it, and if you eat it, you’ll die? An interesting fact regarding this riddle: They told this riddle to a group of kindergartners and a group of Stanford students. 80% of the kindergartners solved the riddle within 2 minutes. 80% of the Stanford students NEVER FIGURED IT OUT!!!
Hint: Try to think on the level of a kindergartner.
ANSWER: NOTHING.
NOTHING is greater than God,
NOTHING is more evil than the Devil,
the poor have NOTHING,
the rich need NOTHING,
if you eat NOTHING, you’ll die!

Actually no. It is “nothing”. It fits better, with less ambiguity or explanation necessary.

You can never eat time.
Why, eating time is like eating space, both are filled with matter, though the pure thing itself can never be found let alone be held.

lame riddle, wrong answer.
1. There is (probably) no God so Everything that exists is bigger than God.
2. Same as above with the Devil
3. The poor don’t have nothing, they still have the clothes on their bodies, beards, their lives, boredom, intelligence/stupidity, hope, smell, etc. etc. etc., if anything you could say that they have very little money.
4. You can not eat nothing, if you eat you always eat something, or you don’t eat at all. It’s like you cannot say nothing, either you say something, or you are not saying anything. To say that you eat/say nothing is just an expression without logical value.
Those kids got it *because* they were stupid. Everyone with the slightest quantum of intellect sees no logical answer to that riddle(but of course you could predict what a lesser person would believe the answer to be, that is easy).
*hmmm.. seems like my post is oozing with arrogance….. meh whatever.

I never post to these things but I just have to reply to An who posted in August so probably will not see but … God does exist and is all things… He is the creator of all things and therefore nothing is bigger than Him but is only because of Him. I’ll agree the riddle dosen’t work after 1. & 2. The poor have something if they know the Lord and the rich need Him despite having all the material wealth of this world… and God tells us man cannot live by bread alone which means without the word of God humans will die an eternal death. So yeah lame riddle and wrong answer I agree but like most people as soon as you deny God or the one true God through Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior everything that follows is not only arrogant but remarkably stupid. “A lessor person” did you really say that??? Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you. Seek the truth, cry out to God to have mercy upon you and show you the truth and count you among His own. You have the purpose of this world all wrong. The lessor man is not the one without your quantum intellect but those who do not believe on the one true God and who doe not keep His laws and cannot understand that because it is impossible to live in perfect righteousness and according to Him we are forgiven through Jesus. All the quantum intellect you can muster cannot possibly unlock the truths of Gods word to you, it will and can only be shown to you if He has mercy upon you… I plead with you to beg of Him and call out to Him and then read the word …. the one book He has given to the world… amongst so much the devil has produced … only one. May God have mercy on your soul.
