Food Hamster Becomes Snake Pal

At a zoo in the Japanese capital, a hamster was given as food to a rodent eating snake called Aochan. Not eating the hamster, they now share the same cage and occasionally the hamster sleeps on top of the snake. After the event, the zoo keeper named the hamster Gohan which means food in Japanese. |

Snakes has jaws that can dislodge and they can eat sizes much greater than theirs.

[...] Sai Mai, a two and a half year old Bengal tigress suckled as a cub bofore growing up with a litter of piglets. It must have grown up confused since it could have feasted on the piglets. This odd behaviour is most probably due to imprinting the early experience of the tigress with the piglets and the tigress would take that it is somehow related to the pigs. Still animal instincts are embedded in the animals genes and it is not known how long their relationship will last.
