It must have grown up confused since it could have feasted on the piglets. This odd behaviour is most probably due to imprinting the early experience of the tigress with the piglets and the tigress would take that it is somehow related to the pigs. Still animal instincts are embedded in the animals genes and it is not known how long their relationship will last.
