Different Colour Twins

Kylie Hodgson gave birth to twin daughters but the phenomenon is that they are of different colours. Her husband and her are both of mixed race where their mothers are both white and their fathers are black. The odds of getting the different coloured twins are a million to one. |

That is so awesome! I didnt kno that something like this could happen! Its cool. Maybe when me and my boyfriend have kids that will happen to us. Both of our families have a very strong history of having twins, and both of our dads are white and our mothers are mexican! that would be cool!

yea im pretty sure that isnt possiblt unless she was having relations with another man sometime during when she just got pregnant with the other kid so that the semen each got to fertilize an egg and they gerw together at the same time, the eggs were just identical. So yea thats great.

This is very possible, and I think this is very cool. I majored in biology and studied how traits come about in people. If each of them have genes for blue eyes, brown eyes, blond hair, brown hair–because they each have a parent who is white and who is black. When the sperm and egg come together, there is a chance for just about any combination of traits to be expressed. They are not identical and so there were two different eggs that were fertilized by two different sperm carrying different traits….I think that it is easy to assume and think that she cheated, because many of us don’t understand areas in genetics and because it makes us feel uncomfortable seeing a black person with a white child that is biologically theirs. But it happens all that time and it has been for hundreds of years.
This is very neat and the girls are adorable.

Of course this is possible…you go about sprouting words like ‘dizygotic’ when you don’t even know what it really means. If you even had the basic knowledge of high-school level biology you would know that for any given trait we carry a gene obtained from each of our parents.
And this is how it works. Genes can be ‘dominant’ or ‘recessive’ - meaning if we have two recessive genes we will receive the recessive trait, two dominant genes and obviously we receive that trait, but if we receive one dominant gene and one recessive gene we will receive the DOMINANT trait, but carry the gene for the recessive trait.
That is what happened here with this couple, they both possessed the recessive white gene and they combine to give them a beautiful white child as well as a beautiful black one!

It is possible for a black couple to have a blonde haired blue eyed baby. Though, considering they had one baby who happened to be black I find it more likely that she in fact had relations with someone who was of caucasian origin. Like how female cats can have kittens from different fathers. It just seems more likely.
Wonder if the “father” asked for a paternity test.

Why would the father of these girls request a faternity test, when his own mother, (the one who conceived him) is white and his father ( the one who fertilized the egg) is black. What is it that you racist are you looking for? Do want God to come down and give you an uncommon explanation to a very common one. God created Adam and Eve we really don’t know if one was white and one was black,or maybe another combination of races, do we? Again, the children are leading us to the truth. Think about it.

Simple high school biology can explain this as others have already stated.
Even if the father does do a paternity test to prove that they are his biological daughters, there will still be dumbasses out there who believe the mother was sleeping around. Why? Is it abnormal to be faithful to one’s spouse? Other than their melanin levels, the girls look near identical to me!

This amazing story just prove the bible, the storie that we all came from Adem and Eve. This is all part of God’s devin plan.
