Samsung i310 will be the first mobile phone equipped with a 8GB hard disk drive. It is an upgrade from the Samsung SGH-i300x which was equipped with a 4GB hard disk drive. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 and includes 2 megapixel camera which allows video recording at 30 fps. The 8GB can be used to store up to 2000 songs in MP3, WMA and AAC formats. The SGH-i310 also include a USB 2.0 Plug and Play allowing it to be used as an external hard drive. The phone will be unveiled at CeBIT from March 9-16 and will be introduced to the European market during the second half of the year.
