Are they really made only out of one piece of paper? I find that hard to believe.
The dragon one is ‘multi-piece’, but what about the others?
Still extremely cool though.

The reaper and ninja shadow is one piece (square and rectangle paper respectively). You can view the fold diagram for death reaper here.
Hyojo Takashi’s work are also one piece. You can view it in his diagrams that they are uncut. Starcraft mutalisk is also in one piece folded from a 10 inch Japanese foil.
The rest I’m not so sure bout that since the creators did not mention anything. However it can easily be seen that the cobra and the hermit crab are multi-piece.

You can download a diagram for his cobra on his page and then you should see that it is from one piece of the paper — rectangle 1×34 units.

You can try clicking the ‘here’ link just under each of the diagrams to see where the original source comes from. From there you can try looking for the diagrams.

i just like creature made from one paper,i don’t like “origamidragon”,i think that “ancient dragon” or “bahamut” is more elegant than it.

Origami cosplay! I love it! Thanks for the great pictures!
July 4th, 2008 at 11:26 pm
Wow! These are hard-to-do origami models. I once tried doing these tough models before but I realized, I would be better off to just doing the simple and usual crane model. I wish I would be able to do one of these someday.
FYI: Origami is derived from the Japanese words “ori” which means “to fold” and “kami” which means “paper”.

Will be grate full if someone may forward the step to step instruction of these models.
Just by seeing the water thirst can’t be met and by seeing the food hanger can’t be.
