Nope it’s not a hoax. The blurry part is because I saved it in low jpeg format. As for the source I got it from some forum thread.

ok people obviously oyu dont know anything about snakes. snakes have been known to swallow humans, and large deer even zebra. im sure this kangaroo was no problem because you can see in the 7th picture down it has crushed its bones for easier eating . Thank you please come again!

naw, it’s not a fake….snakes will eat anything if they’re hungry enough. pet snakes that are that big and get loose where i’m at are known to eat whole deer

Okay, look at the size of the leaves around the kangaroo. Also look at the fur of the kangaroo. This isn’t a full grown oh-my-damn-that’s-a-big-roo Roo. This is a joey. Maybe half grown.
Also, has anyone asked themselves how the f*** does a carpet snake (NON VENOMOUS) capture a roo? I would assume the roo would kick the snake to death before dying even if the snake managed to get a hold of the throat.

You think that eating a half-grown kangaroo is tough for a snake? I saw a newsclip in Malaysia the other day about a python that captured, strangled and swallowed a PREGNANT SHEEP! Granted, the snake couldn’t move for a while afterwards, but still, snakes are interesting creatures…

Uh, the majority of meat eating entities (human, animal, plant) kill what they eat. That’s not cruel, that’s nature…but maybe nature is cruel…but is eating cruel? I mean, the kangaroo deserves to live but not the snake??

No human has the right to say what is acceptable or unacceptible when it comes to nature. The fact is, the snake is hungry so it must eat what it’s supposed to eat or it will die. You can’t give a snake a bowl of boiled vegetables, that’s not what its body needs. Besides, I think it’s a pretty sure bet that the Kangaroo was already dead. Road kill maybe?

that is so cool.. i could believe it. snakes are amazing creatures. and like someone mentioned earlier.. its not cruel its life. do you eat beef? or jelly beans? jelly beans are made out of the hooves and horns of cows!! but then again the cows dont feel it .. ok back to snakes .. yah its so cool its life blah blah blah.

I did that once, out of desperation back in ‘naam, just after I lost my legs. Forgot to crush the bones though, so I ended up piercing a lung. I died an hour later.

Ok for one thin snakes can eat something twice the size of their body size hence why that snake has eaten the baby what ever the hell it is. And people,its called constriction. They wrap up on your body and everytime you breath out they constrict harder not letting you or the animal get another breath. So you don’t die cuz it squeezed you, you died cuz you couldn’t breath. So you think the snake was eating in-humainly?? Your a dip shit. I hope a snake comes and eats your cat or dog. Snakes can and will eat whatever they want to. Go tell the 60 ft python that’s in the amazon somwhere that he can’t eat whatever he wants. I hope he eats you. Yes big snakes can,and have, eaten people. If you eat anything your eating another animal. So you should feel the same about your self as you do the snake. I have 30 snakes my self. Not big ones of course,but I have kingsnakes and cornsnakes if they wanted to they could break my arm.
