He is a fraud he allways steps infront of the camera i saw his slip nup once with a trick were he made a couple vanish into this air and re apear down the hall, when he stepped infront of the camera u could see the couples shaddows duck off and to the right and then when hw said “now” he steos out from the camera and
a dummy couple wy down the hall dressed the same look alike stepped out. , the crowd watching wer obviously payed stooges so we can only assume just about every so called illusion is set up with payed reactions from actors, there is a big diffrence between an illusionist art craft and playing camera tricks, any one can fool the camera, iillusionism is a real skill, like houdini, no camera back then to step infront of.

if the video didn’t work. What criss angel deos is…
while standing he holds his shoes together side by side with magnets.
Then while distracting the audience he pulls one leg out of a secret compartment in his pants. (No one can see this)
and uses that leg to lift him on top of a box or sidewalk. while his shoes are together with magnets.
From the back it looks like he’s levitating.
but the levitation in the picture is not the same as the one in the video, he has nothing to stand on!!!

I’m not claiming I know how he does it… but I saw him levitate on tv one time where he levitaties to one building to the other… man it was awesome.. but all magic is misdirection… I don’t know what I saw. During the Trick, I saw two wires.
Not attached To Chris Angel, there where going somewhere else, one was black, and the other was silver. I saw them for a brief second. I don’t know maybe i was seeing things. but the wires showed for a second and vanished the next, I can see the light being reflected of them. just thought I would post that… maybe it helps maybe not…
I have one more thing to say: its my own theory. Perhaps there are two methods to this trick.. one is the obvious leg one, and the one where he levitates to the building, maybe hes using the leg one as a cover, more misdirection, maybe he never showed the real method at all, He just showed that leg to throw us off.

For those of you who cannot view the video, he directs the attention to his back while he opens his pants leg then with shoe sowed on to pants leg (i guess anyhow) he placed his real foot infront of him on a “BOX” and then balances on one leg…. type in cris angle tricks revealed a much better video is aviable

Wow. I completely agree with you Amazed. It really makes you wonder on the class of people who are commenting. I also find it humurous the amount of anger people respond with. They don’t have legitamate arguments, they just call others stupid for believing in something. I have seen quite a few Chris Angel tricks that have baffled me, and I would like to know how they are done. I don’t believe in magic, but I do believe that Chris has a real gift of illusion, unless he is a complete fake, with cuts, and camera angles, and actors. But I’m not sure. I’m not going to call people morons for thinking he’s real, or for seeing him as the anti christ. He wants people to think those things, and he is good enough at his craft that he is going to pull in a lot of simple minded people, and even curious people of higher intelligence. He’s entertaining to watch, and I will continue to seek out explanations.

Guys, all the (bad) grammatical-mood aside, Criss Angel and his like are illusionists, yes. However they are also magicians, as magic (or magick to all the Crowleys out there) IS real and DOES exists within everything that is apart of our universe - whether you have the capacity to believe it or not and whether you can spell out an argument on the subject or not, which alas most of you cannot. This subject should not be of argument, if anything, objective analysis. Criss Angel is a master of illusion, but he is also a master of himself and his own mind, and has harnessed enough inner-force to accomplish amazing feats, both by using what you may call trickery, and just as much by actually using a certain power that adepts from the middle east to China HAVE been utilizing for centuries. The video footage of Criss ‘revealing’ his levitation act, where he is seen to be instructing the budding magician on the minor trick of levitating a few inches above the ground and then onto a higher platform, was most likely filmed to give people, bored enough to give it ago, something to do to get laid or just to make friends; and probably at the same time to give the impression that just anyone can do what he and others can do (which is not entirely so), hence merely broadening his market - inspiring those who wish to become illusionists (or magicians). What people need to do is break out of the ignorant mold and understand that there is such thing as magic. We all have a mind, a body and a soul, whether you want to work 9 to 5 Monday to Friday for money in a mundane job or whether you want to hone your inner-abilities and talents, whatever they may be, to achieve less material means, is up to you. But don’t attempt to shoot down the possibilities of mankind on a whim to simply argue or not believe in the things that may scare or baffle, when you haven’t even grasped the language thereof to construct a credible argument, and moreover without explanation to the contrary of Criss Angel’s powers, accomplishments or tricks, whichever title you wish to use to describe his work. Do me a favor, watch the episode that shows Criss flying over the Valley of Fire in Nevada by wenching himself to a helicopter by means of four metal hooks perforated through his upper back. This episode alone is testament to Mind over Matter, and whether you believe in illusions, magic, Scientology or smurfs; you cannot escape the fact that this man has power of mind AND that he works very hard to make the money most of you think he makes through scam or fallacy. I’d like to see those who argue to try the things he and others do! For years I have been studying magick, illusions, acoustic and electrostatic levitation, etc. And i assure you there are forces within man and our universe existent beyond comprehension to most; it all comes down to believing in them, tapping into them and manipulating them for whatever gain. Criss Angel’s main motivation is not money, otherwise he would’ve just gone into real estate or modeling. He loves what he does, and he wants people to know theres more to life than what we’d all simply like to fathom as real for the sake of staying docile little minions. To add to this, he is an inspiration to people of all belief systems, whether your going through troubles in life or you do actually want to be a magician/illusionist/mindfreak, people like himare there to tell us that we can do anything. He shouldn’t be hated for this.

Very well stated by the guy above, I’d just like to add that the whole mind over matter idea: In the most vague of contexts, I believe is just a term most used to describe something that the vast majority can’t fatham actually being “placed” into reality, EVER…….I, personally have come to a point in life where quite simply put, in my mind just about ANYTHING is possible. This, to me rings true in such a way that the contraversy (specifically relating to Criss Angels’ Talent) is just funny and at the moment, very intreaguing. DOUBT, in general is an inherant human reaction to basically everything that comes with life experience, either something IS one way……OR it ISN”T(quite simply put)…either Chris Angel CAN do these amazing, unbelievable, seemingly impossible feats that he puts in front of our eyes…or he CAN”T……ohhh can someone pleeease tell me can this one human man of flesh and blood have the power to really fly-levitate(same damn thing)?…I use this ability(out of the many) because it is just one thing, I think, can most easily be described as: one of those things that just about 99.9% of humans with somewhat considerable mental capacity TRULY believe CANNOT be achieved by another human period….If infact someone does have the power to transcend any physical object (including but not limited to themselves) throughout physical reality-aka-time itself, using nothing other than what can only be described as something that DOES have an effect, yet the cause can never have been accomplished without some sort of action being taken in time/reality at some point, I really wish they could inexplicably make this known to everyone….ANY effect starts with some sort of cause….SOMETHING, has to cause this guy to seemingly be able to friggin float from one building to another, walk on water, split himself into two pieces etc. etc. etc. Is it really mind over matter? I think not…powerful as the human mind maybe, I just don’t think it has the ability to create something in reality with no motive other than the fact that thought itself has potential to lead to eventual actuality/action which would then, and only then create the cause leading to the specified effect(e.g. flight/levetation)…overall, It really just depends upon the individual. The idea of true “belief” vary’s so much, its nearly impossible to pinpoint when and how someone comes to formulate that the belief does exist. To most, seeing is believing…..but for others, seeing is just another way to truly discover how the cause leads to the effect which, to me, personally, IS TRUE belief in something. Knowing both the cause and affect of any action in time, in my eyes begats genuine belief in that particular action-effect. HELL NO I don’t believe this guy can fly!!! He’s human just like u and me and I’m sure if i discovered the secret to transcending time and space, I’d be getting rich and famous at a much, MUCH more accelerated pace than this guy, and in a much, MUCH more classy and unique way….but thats just me. Arguements and disagreements, especially on a topic so broad as supernatural ability is and will always continue to interest the more intellectual of us…the word “magic” as we’ve come to understand it, is most often thought of in a sense synonimous with “illusion”. To purposely believe an illusion is just plain dumb. Who would actually believe 100% in something they know in some way, IS UNTRUE???? everybody believes differently so there can never really be a conclusion as to weather or not Criss Angel can or can’t do the things he portrays….is it real??? Its very nice and sometimes endless thought material to believe something thought of as impossible in most peoples’ eyes. Who knows? Maybe believing in the impossible somehow, someway CAN make the impossible possible. Just depends on your particular perception of what can or can’t actually occur in reality….The guy is good at what he does, don’t get me wrong….boddom line is that he IS AN ILLUSIONIST….

I was one of the observers of Chris Angel’s levitation on the golf course. You may have seen it on TV about two weeks ago. This stunt was NOT staged. There was NO CRANE or any other machines used to lift him off the ground. I was close enough to him before he levitated to see that he had NO WIRES OR STRINGS connected to him. Several of us moved our hands above him to try to feel for “invisible” wires or strings. There was nothing. Chris floated above the trees for about 30 seconds and came to rest a good distance from where he lifted off from. I nearly went pee on myself when i saw that……..and I am not easily impressed by magic.
It’s EASYYYY to say that it was CAMERA MAGIC done with editing………unless you were there to witness it. No camera magic was done here my friends.

Okay, I’ve seen him do this not in front of objects such as curbs or benches or whatever. Also, I’ve seen David Blaine do it- from the front, and there was nothing in front of him. They were both very much clear of the ground. I think Cris did this just to ease people who are easily freaked out by things that are… mystical or supernatural.
I am not a strong believer in the Bible myself, word for word. However, I find it funny that people who are, who never saw one of the things mentioned in it, such as a man separating a sea with a wooden staff come to pass, nor the person who initially wrote the book or translated it, but believe whole heartedly in its words. We can *see* Cris Angel, and we can *see* David Blaine, yet the things that they do, for whatever reason, seem phoney to the very religious. Someone please explain *that* to me.

If Religion, and the preachers therein who profess to practice it, had really done it’s job in telling the truth about our past; our origins and the REAL stuff like levitation, Astro-theology, Mysticism etc etc etc, then all of us would have already turned into balls of pure light, utilizing 100% of our brain potential, we’d be up in F***-knows-where having orgies with hot chicks and getting slaughtered with Dimebag Darrell and John Lennon - one things for sure we wouldn’t be here sitting on our ass’s contemplating and asking questions as to why only a select few know certain things about this, this and that, or why, for example, only a select few run this whole show.
I believe the answers to more or less everything can be found within both Science and Religion, but not in the ‘very religious’, or the ‘very scientific’ for that matter, these guys might know something, but they almost always mislead Man. People need to find the truth themselves and instead of making money off religion or building weapons through science, they, we, need to find and divulge the true secrets
(so we can all levitate above criss angel and shit on him)..You know, Something gave us all both Religion and Science in the form of a code to crack by reconciling or unifying them both in just the right way, using them to free both the mind and the soul from the body that has been oppressed and traumatized by the misinterpretation of all religions since their respective inceptions.
I say, without being rude, who cares if the ‘very religious’ don’t either believe nor appreciate things, phenomena or not, which were supposed to be a part of their own culture (certainly levitation was and always has been, in fact people have been levitating since the dawn of time and since before OUR religions).
More often than not, these people, the ‘very religious’ can be the most mentally ill, close-minded, hidebound and fear-based kind in our world, and they most definately don’t know it. We all know religion, or its misinterpretation and misinformation of it, is responsible for most, if not all the wars since just before the Roman empire, and is now responsible for something worse, the Neocons! who really cares if they don’t get it, I’m sure Criss Angel won’t. To me, the very religious shouldn’t have a say in anything. Anyway, it was never supposed to be a cultist church established for money- and blood-lust based on divide and conquer, or Ordo ab Chao as some might say. Which it is. True religious teaching was supposed to be a free, individual path to enlightenment and the mastery of oneself through the realization and connection of the mind, body and soul, and Criss Angel probably knows this.
I know i went overboard but hey, this is the internet right.
Just remember: Some are wise, some are otherwise. Most of us are the latter.
And also remember, not just the (very) Religious but ALL OF US have been told what is real, what is history, normality, humanity, for centuries. We have been told what to think, how to think, what to know and more or less how to act. This is why any and all of us find anything that may be true but yet abnormal or perhaps impossible hard to believe or perceive as reality. But i guess only a select few will ‘get’ what I’m saying..

I also was there to observe Chris Angel’s levitation trick. It looked alot different on television than it did in person. There was alot of editing made to make it appear real. In person you could see the the glare of some type of string. I am not sure how he was elevated but there were definetly some type of string. When I began asking questions about the illussion, I was asked to leave the premises.

About the woman Chris pulled in half, I saw that very woman with her husband on the Maury Povich show a couple of years ago. The topic was about people with disabilities who overcame the odds. I think she was born without a pelvic bone and without legs (of course.)

Listen up knuckle heads. I was the crane op on this shoot it took a day on the golf course and a full day at the building site for those to complex tricks. We used a 6k Arri light rig and with a full motion control unit. It was all cut to effect in post. Everyone you see is an actor. Check out the hottie at the golf course girls like that are in the club rooms - they dont ‘play golf’ - dumbasses!
And yes I can leviate my crane where ever I like far longer than Criss Angel.
