Sia, why are u so engrossed in knowing who the guy dressed as Squall is? I mean even if Iknow him (which I don’t) and told u his name is Tom or Henry, it still won’t make a difference right? hehe

the first picture of rikku is freakin awesome and looks just like her so does the one with yuffie and the guns could be her. i wish the girl dressed as rinoa had shown her face.

I like finaly fantasy 7-11 but when your dressing like them it makes me sad becase people need lives and
clearly the people dressing up as rikku, squall, etc. really need a life…

hey, it’s more difficult for Westerners to have such access to quality material to make cosplay. In Japan it’s all ready; stores completely devoted to cosplay around every corner. In America, you might need to drive half and hour to the nearest Joanns.
I think it’s great Westerners are participating in cosplay.
Like with everything, there is good and bad. Some good Japanese cosplay, some bad. Some good Western cosplay, some bad.

To ‘Lychee’ the racist, who thinks “westerners” shouldn’t participate in Cosplay. Like the other guy/girl says, Japanese guys have the shops on their doorsteps and more media attention, so the best invariably get photographed. I have also seen some *ridiculous* looking Jap Cosplayers to rival all the fatt-ass American Yunas and Rikkus you might have seen. Then I’ve also saw Western Cosplayers that look a million times better in some cases. Look here (further down the page) to see the best goddamn Zelda and Link Cosplayers you will *ever* witness, they are a European brother and sister (don’t know what nationality they are but they had to have English translated at the event): See here…

lol, how can you say westerns shouldn’t cosplay when the characters aren’t even all Japanese! Wow. talk about small minded. that’s pretty lame for people to say. Just shows how redic you are.
I think these cosplays are amazing!!!!!! I do l love the Rikku from FFX, prob because mostly all you see are the rikku’s from ffx-2. sigh. And I’m cosplaying as Rikku FFX for halloween this year!!!! I’m really excited. Just have to figure out the bangs… I don’t have any and don’t know how I feel about chopping a fringe just for one day! =P
