That’s not car art, idiots. Those panals are there as spoilers to create downforce by redirecting and retarding the flow of air. Except in that application, it’s totally worthless. I dunno if they’re trying to drag those, keep them from sliding (doubtful, Japan thinks they invented drifting), or do some sort of low speed race (they’ve killed the top speed of the vehicles with all that air restriction.
Case and point, no one’s going to mount an intercooler for a turbo on the front spoiler of an “art” car.

1 and 2 are definetly pulsar”s/exa”s 3 and 4 are nissan 240sx i think lol some of them are cubs tryd to be made areodynamic but comon changing bumpers to them things are very areodynaic buy the car there on whell not worth it but in the lat 70 erly 80 there wasent many aro dynamic cars lol just steel on wheels real cars yea big engine lol like a 572 chevy big block nevermind 92 hp when u can have 500 min lol (srry 4 spellin not english)

you guys that talk about top speed and keeping the cars on the ground obviously missed the point of the car. there obviously not made to improve the cars performance its just a fun mod thats normally not seen. no one is stupid enough to think that these mods would help the cars performance

Japanese cars… we call them ricey and hey mr. pro jap what you got to say about europe? how is japan superior to europe? second those cars are trashy , not classy if i saw one of those going down the road, the thought wouldnt be, oh that is such beautiful art, it would be what kind of shit ass ricer added a ridiculous body kit to an obviously junk car? stylizing a car is hard and these people have really missed stylisying a lot. Be tasteful in modifications to your car, these cars are just ugly.

i dont see y the R32 skyline or the S14 sivia are in there (photos 7 & 8). These mods are definately not crazy, and unlike the rest these do infact improve the performance of the vehicle in regards to aerodynamics. They are popular kits for drift style cars and not uncommon in New Zealand

First of all This style in japan is called bozo zuko style. It is just for fun and a good way to express yourself. Also to japan is retarded go F**** yourself because drifting would not be what it is today if it wasn’t for Japan, if you don’t like japan then stay off a website about japan. There is always some redneck idiot that always comes and tries to act like they now everything and cause trouble at least japan has creativity instead of inbred white trash rednecks with white trash ferrari, mustangs and all those other domestics that are rusting and are barely running, thinking that they can’t be beat.

First off, to the guy who says “he knows too much about cars”. YOU’RE AN IDIOT. You don’t know SHIT about cars. The 1st 2 cars are NOT shitty FWD, girly bitch EXA/Pulsars… those are S12 RWD Gazelles and Silvias. Get it right!! Not of those cars are FWD… only RWD. Also, you gotta be a blind dumbass to think those insane mods aid those cars in performance. Well, Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhh!! That is called Bosozoku/KyushaKai/Shakotan/Garuchan style. It is NOT yankee(Yankee was used after the manga Shakotan Boogie). It is just drivers in Japan having fun with their cars to cruise and get together… no more, no less. It’s a hobby. Personally, I wouldn’t do it to my cars… but I respect their culture. Also, KNOW what you’re talking about before you call something ricer, morons. Ricer is someone who puts goofy spoilers and performance stickers, or cheap/inferior parts on a car that clearly doesn’t have those parts on it, or is just a stock car trying to look/act like a more powerful version. No wonder the internet is full of shit-talkers, you guys make it too easy.
