I think that its better to know which facts are true, and which aren’t, so thank you all for exploring the ‘facts’ further. However, I think that it is a waste of time to sit around and argue about this, as they were probably copy and pasted from some other ‘fact’ website. Most online ‘facts’ turn out to be bogus anyway, mainly because anyone can post them online. Also, cool as it would be to have a site full of true facts for us to sit and read, we’d probably get bored because of their credibility. I mean, this list has made me question, laugh and think, and I’m only 14yrs old.

It is proven false that human hair and nails do not growth after death, even if submerged in water like the repy above stated. So i would appreciated it if you would take if off your site since it is scientifically false. Just ask any other scientisits or doctor and they can set you stright. common misconception, see what really happens is:
as the skin on your body loses water in natural dehydration due to evaporation,
it shrivels like shrinkwrap to the body and loses much elasticity.
this shrinking creates a false sense of paranormal state: body functions continuing after that body has fully shut down.
the hairs and fingernails seem to elongate, when in reality, the skin has become thinner.

no, this is false. it is due to the contracrtion of the fragile skin around facial areas which gives the illusion that hair is growing it is actually the root hairs being exposed and the nail i believe also work on the same principle

Google is not the name for a number with a million zeroes. You are confusing this with a Googol, which is 10 raised to the power of 100, which is a one followed by a hundred zeroes. Incidentall a question along these lines was the million pound question on UK TV’s “who wants to be a millionaire” show

I’m not going to complian about the validity of these facts because I’m sure that the compiler complied these ‘facts’ slightly toungue-in-cheek. I mean, I’m sure he/she didn’t believe that all of these facts were 100% accurate but rather posted them because they are interesting. I was certainly interested whether they’re true or not. I’m sure most of them are true and the ones that aren’t, well at least they were still interesting, and every fact list isn’t 100% right.
However, I must quetsion the point of #19 - Everytime you sneeze, brain cells die.
It’s my understanding that many of our brain cells die every minute to be replaced by new ones whether we sneeze or not.

I must say that all of these comments are quite fascinating by far, the things and consults of foolish arguing and bickering are such meaningless actions.
But for one who is wise with a discerning heart this is very sad how many people do not get along in this world over the littlest things in life such as true vs. not true interesting facts.

I believed this until I saw the first of many grammar mistakes. I thought that this was a professional article, but then I realized it was written by a novice as gullible, and idiotic as those of you who think this article is true because its on the internet.
Fortunately that’s only about 5% of the people commenting.
To those five percent of you, look up the facts before you deny them.
I would like to add to those of the 5% of you ignorant losers that told us to stop fighting about it:
