Well, this was certainly an enjoyable little time-waster. Some of these “facts” are, indeed, true while other are not. Big deal. You’re sitting in front of a computer, aren’t you? Is it so hard to verify the validity of the claims? And, in doing so, if you feel the inescapable desire to post corrections for the benefit of others, is it necessary to be cruel and rude?

And speaking of posting corrections, I would like to thank all of you who debunked some of these “facts”. Especially those of you who lack the ability to spell, capitalize proper nouns, and use punctuation and proper grammar. Rest assured that your idiotic statements in no way reflect upon your credibility as a disperser of knowledge. Quite the contrary; the fact that you are able to feed yourself (I assume) and function, to a point, in society is — in some parallel universe, I expect — rather impressive. Keep up the good work in reminding us on a regular basis how truly ignorant you are.

To Nick, I would like to say that I, too, chortled quite often while reading these comments.

And, bubbles…Regarding your comment about the paper folding “fact”: What you’re saying, then, it that if I can fold a piece of notebook paper 17 times, but I used a hydraulic press, it doesn’t count? Now (with a handle like “bubbles” I’m assuming you’re a female), step away from the computer and come over here and spank me!

haha. we do have the right to express one’s selves.
this kind of thing is cool to know even though there are some that are questionable, it’s for ourselves to know the truth.

Most of you people are dumbasses who are of the belief that you’re smart, you’re not. I have read most of these in many different books. Those books wouldn’t all be published if these are wrong. Given, there are one or two myths but, most of them are correct. Also, regarding the paper folding one, it is meant to be with your own strength, not using a car or some rig to fold the paper.

german shepherds only bite more people than any other dog because they are the most trust worthy to be used as a police dog. My family and i have a german shepherd and they are fantastic family dogs.
