Gunibo The Robotic Dog Understands Human Speech

Korea has developed its own version of Aibo called Gunibo and is commercially available in the country. The smart robot dog understands human speech which is the first commercial robot that has such ability. The speech recognition feature allows the robot to understand some 100 words such as ‘come here’, ’sit’ and so on. |

The robot is capable of navigating its way around obstacles in its path. The robot contains 17 small motors and a CPU, as well as Bluetooth features, allowing it to receive wireless commands from a computer in its body.
