There are words written in the image. At first glance you won’t be able to make it out so just make your eyes small or move a distance from the image. Then you will see the words written.

Does that mean when you unsquint your eyes, you become Caucasian? Do you have to be a racist to appreciate this moniker? (Goes without saying, criminal use of ‘Chinese’ tag.)

Hi there, I think you got the wrong idea about the whole thing. Squint your eyes like chinese eyes is just a way to picture squinting of the eyes. I don’t see that as a racist remark. Its more like an identification about us oriental asians. Also I’m Chinese myself.

I’m sorry but it *is* racist, and you should know that. It’s like saying make your lips like an African, or make your nose like a Jew. Maybe in Asia this wouldn’t be offensive to anyone, but out in the West the term “Chinese eyes” (or its more derogatory version, “Chinky eyes”) has very negative connotations.
(I realize you’re Chinese yourself, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be aware of how things could be interpreted. The Internet is accessed all over the world. I know you meant no offense, so this isn’t personal.)

There is a bullshit term we use in the United States called “politically correct.” It basically means that you can’t say anything that may offend hyper sensitive people in an open fourm. The rest of us Americans have to cope with the hyper sensitivity of others because *unfortunately* this is the direction our country is heading.
The bottom line is that Asian people in general have eyes that do not open as wide as other ethnicities. I have lots of jewish friends and many of them have big noses. My stepdad is jewish. He has a big nose. Guess what? People of African descent often have big lips. These are facts plain and simple.
You are not racist for noticing the obvious. What’s next? not identifying people by there physical attributes at all? Peoples physical features are how they are identified. Hence fingerprinting, eye, hair color, foot size, drivers license photo etc… Please get past your PC hypersensitive bs. You are a part of a growing problem in the US. These pansies are destroying all forms of media in our country.

okay. i get the rasist-ness of it, but you have to realize that most chinese people are probally saying to themselves, “no problem, i understand” while you other people are saying “oh my gosh! thats so racist!” grow up and just deal with it. and whoever submitted this: dont use that reference anymore just to aviod the comments that arent about your illusion WHICH IS THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS PAGE!!!

its not rasist. Nothing is. If you treat people all alike, then you can tell a chinese that he has small eyes, you can tell a jew that he has a big nose, and you’ll accept it when they say something like that about you, because no one means any harm.
rasisme is baste upon falls ideas, squinting your eyes like a chinese is here used as an expression.
It is easy to say, if you really cant see it: paste it into Paint and put it in negative

“Bad Eyes” indeed. I can’t read it at all with my glasses on, but with them off the white lines blur away so all I can see is the big, black letters.
