I love him so much.Pure breed dogs tend to have more health problems then others. My handsome 2 year old boy is now fighting for his life. Kidney failure. At the age of 71/2 months old we noticed he didn't want to walk and dragged himself around. At 8 months he had his first hip removed (not replaced.....but removed) , at 10 months the second one. Now at 2 he has 1/2 his weight lost and as I said, fighting for his life. As long as we can, we will continue to take him to the animal hospital, the vet ,apply what medication we can, and use the IV for fluids at home. When the time comes that we are told he is in pain, we will give him up to god.As hard as it will be,we won't have him to suffer. All size dogs are ok. They all wan't the same thing.......love and approvile from their owners. If you have a dog, small. med, or large , love it because you never know when you will lose it. I read an article about DNA on the super tiny & super big dogs and how sometimes it just pops up at times, i guess it just happens. I would just hope that who every might end up with one take good care of it, not just vet visit but lots of love and let it be a dog !
