I thought Futurama was joking when they said that ambergris was expensive and used for cosmetics. I knew that they put awful things into makeup (the Romans used ground-up bugs) but whale vomit? It should have stayed a gag.

I think we just discovered something new that has another use for its purpose, just because it is vomit doesnt mean that its nasty but its natural and the more natural it is the less harmful it has to be. right?
