Mystery Beast At Maine Killed By Car

A mysterious creature found dead in Maine is suspected to be the one that has mauled dogs and could have been the subject of local legend for half a generation. Residents has reported of seeing and hearing a mysterious animal with chilling montrous cries and eyes that glow in the night. |

The animal has been blamed for attacking and killing a Doberman pinscher and a Rottweiler over the past couple of years. At first Wildlife officials and animal control officers declined to examine the remains but in the end, a DNA analysis was made and showed that the animal was a rare wolf-dog hybrid. The animal was described to have a “half-rodent, half-dog’ look.

if u look at that one hybrid animal page and look at the picture of the wolf dogthe picture on this page and the other one looks nothing alike

Why is it that whenever a mystery creature is “captured” They can only offer obscurerd photographs of the thing. From this angle it looks sadly like the chow/??/mutt puppy I used to have a few years back.. I see nothing mishapen, or odd at all. If there is really something different about this animal, surely they could have gotten a better photograph…I mean it’s obviously dead and wouldnt harm someone who could perhaps re-positioned it’s head for a better photo??
I like to believe in the creepy crawlies and things that go bump in night as much as the next person…maybe evn MORE than the next person! But this pic did nothing but piss me off that someone ran over a young puppy and are now trying to make a buck off it! Show me a REAL picture of it’s Distinguishing features, then I’ll be happy to believe you’ve got a “mythical” creature there!

TO J+D, This one was raised in the wild,of course it looks different!
I think the writer was confused,ITS more like dog-wolf,not wolf dog.
the face resembles a dog,but maybe its instincts are more like a wolf,
thats why it attacks other dogs,hahaha

well, if it managed to kill both a dobermann and a rottweiler it’s gotta be pretty bad ass. wouldn’t like to lay my hands on that fucker:P a shame it got killed though

“Rare” wolf-dog “hybrid” ? Hmm. Look up the following:
Akita (which have also been known to kill dobermans, rottweilers, and American bull terriers”
Malamute
Huskey
Aleutian
and in fact ANY dog breed. Just 400 years ago there were only a handful
of dog breeds - including the common Wolf. Nothing rare about “wolf-dog”
hybrids at all - essentially they’re genitically identical, and cross quite often.
This animal looks a bit like an Akita pup with a slightly squished head (may have something
to do with BEING HIT BY A CAR…)

it is a chupacabra!!!! if you look it up you can see! they are very rare they like to eat goats and other smaller animals

its a dog, prob a chow. thats how it looks when decomposing trust me i know…
