Oliver The Humanzee
|
Oliver was called the ‘Humanzee’ and came to widespread public attention in 1976. The reason was because of his humanlike behaviour, preferring to walk on hindlegs, sit cross legged on a chair, help with chores around the house, etc. Besides that his small bald head and reduced prominence of his jaws yielded a humanoid appearance. Taken to Japan, in the mid 1970s blood tests showed that Oliver had 47 chromosomes - one more than humans, one less than chimps. |
In autumn 1996, Chicago University geneticist Dr David Ledbetter revealed that Oliver had 48 chromosomes and later on, DNA analysis expert Dr John from Texas’s Trinity University also concluded that Oliver had 48 too and therefore dispelling the myth of Oliver being a mutant.

That’s not impressive. It’s just a mutated chimp. We get mutated humans all the time. For instance, my math teacher. She looks like an oompa loompa. But she’s not a hybrid.

the test in japan was done and correct at 47 1 less then chimp 1 more for human the 2nd test years later somebody located a different chimp in a experiment lab no fingerprints or foot prints where identified as the one in japan face was much bigger too so the original was not to be found again a risk to our religion our beliefs in god japan still has the files of proof so that story was also on discovery channel compare the heads what was it doing at a experiment lab for nine years anyway?fact, no proof that they were the same on the discovery channel because both test where not the same 47 can’t change to 48 in 9 years or 100years

If that’s true then somebody is really nasty to be with a chimp. LOL

They have found fossil remains of an upright walking pre - human they call “Lucy”. They claim it is an early ancestor of man. But is it? Could Lucy just be Oliver’s ancestor? I suggest that when Oliver dies his bones be carefully compared to Lucy’s. If they are a match then the theory of evolution may be in for a shock and a lot of books will have to be rewritten. It’s worth the examination.

god u people are dumb, u can’t even write coherently. jesus christ reading those comments was irritating. i think u all may be related to chimps. especially richard bondira u are the worst of all u retard. statements such as: “carefully compare oliver’s bones to lucy’s” and “the theory of evelution may be in for a shock” show that you’re speaking about things that u clearly have know knowledge of. the fact is all of u who state “facts” about oliver are really stating personal opinions, none of which have any proof or validation backing them up. maybe oliver’s half man half chimp, maybe he’s an ape hybrid, maybe he’s simply a mutant chimp. maybe two different chimps were tested in japan and the US, maybe it was the same one. the only fact is that IF anyone knows for sure what oliver is it is only a small handful of people, and none of u are among them because if u were u would be intelligent and would not write such rambling, retarded comments. u are all disgraceful abominations of the human race, and your only useful purpose is as demonstratable evidence supporting how close homo sapien truly is to the great apes.

Parasite, use proper grammar. Did someone touch a nerve? Do you know how to capitalize?

i agree i dont believe that that was oliver that they found in that lab!!!! that was clearly a chimp. its head was to big and it looked nothing like him. the cromazone count was right the first time 47. that was not oliver that they claim to have

I think you conspiracy people are right: Oliver is fact “the missing link” and resides in area 51 when he isn’t making personal appearances or TV specials!
Just think…it takes just as much faith to believe in the Big Bang and evolution considering the fact that there is NO concrete evidence backing up either THEORY.
There is no missing link because we are NOT descended from apes or monkeys!
Oliver may in fact be related to, and descended from, Big Foot and Nessie the Loch Ness monster. Scientists have already tried creating a “humanzee”, and failed…

do you know if oliver is still alive???

Yeah, I think the parasite’s intention was to write a parody of his own comments — if so, it was actually pretty funny. If not, then I’m depressed and would like to kill 101 chimpanzees in 99 days.

I have seen Oliver on TV. He was, at he time of the filming, living in an animal rescue primate house in Texas. They had original film from when Oliver was young, and had his first owner on as a guest. The previous owner approached Oliver’s enclosure and called to Oliver and Oliver responded, and came to the one time owner and kissed him. This was after Oliver spent years with a second owner, a lawyer, and then spent 9 years in virtual seclusion in a medical research lab. That is quite a long time to remember his old owner. In my opinion Oliver is not a mutated ape, but is a human-chimpanze hybrid. Just as a horse and a donkey can have a mule offspring, some person in Africa and a chimpanze had Oliver.

Yes, miamijjer, Evolution is a theory. In the scientific sense, however, a theory is defined as a logical explanation of events based on FACTS. Facts that can be observed and analyzed, allowing scientists to logically deduce theories. If one were to choose between ignorance towards progressive science and blind faith elsewhere or a scientific theory based on facts (because, again, it is based on concrete facts), one would find that the answer is clear.
Please find better arguments to debase Evolution because whining “NO concrete evidence backing up either THEORY” is in itself contradictory and irrelevant. It is clear that you know little about Evolution and that you have not yet treated yourself to any guided courses in Biology. I strongly recommend doing so as it will broaden your views about the natural world, offer a better understanding of biological processes, and at least for me, culture a tremendous admiration and love for the intricacies and possibility of life.
Sure: I will give you that a theory will never, ever become a fact. Why, you ask? Because a theory is composed of facts; therefore, will never become a single fact. How can it? Just as a a cake is composed of flour, eggs, sugar, etc. and any intelligible person can deduce, I hope, that this cake can never become three cups of flour.

Cuz says: “Just like a horse and a Donkey”….LMFAO. This is wild for sure. I think there is something to be said to comparing Olivers bones to that supposed first humans bones…

Oliver was caught in the Congo. There is a species of apes that lives exculsively in the Congo. These apes are similar to chimps yet have distinct differences such as longer limbs in perportion to torso length and also prefer to walk up right. They are known as Bonobos. One of the previous posters is mistaken that bonobo was the name of a “humanzee”. Bonobo is the species. Check it out, Oliver is a bonobo not a chimpanzee nor a “humanzee”. You’re all morons!

….seriously nobody knows anything even in religion. so basically we live in a imaginative world based on faith and wonder. so honestly science MIGHT be the closest thing to knowing the answer OR we can just all live on assumptions and be baffling idiots, not like it hasn’t come to that already.
