Croc Hunter, Steve Irwin Killed By Stingray
|
Steve Irwin who is famously known as the Crocodile Hunter was killed in a freak accident where he was fatally gored by a stringray on the Great Barrier Reef. He was stabbed in the heart and the whole footage was caught on film. He was swimming above the 2.5m string ray when it suddenly turns and sends a poisonous barb through his heart. It would not have been so fatal if it had hit elsewhere. He left behind his wife with her two children Bindi, 8 and Bob, 2.The segment of the film on stringrays was for a new television program that will be hosted by his daughter Bindi. I don’t think steve would be happy to see people masacering sting rays after his death, as he loved all animals, that is what he stood for.
I think its very traggic that such a great man like steve has left our world,
But I think if he had a choice in his way of death this could have been it.

He is greatly missed in this world of creatures great and small. He inspired us all to care for the animals. The crocs dont seem the same without him.
