Sorry guys for the lack of updates recently, had been preparing for my year end trip and things are going pretty hectic.

This is a HDR Rendered photo by Atlus at a friend’s house. It was also recently featured on the front page of Flickr. The HDR was combined with LucisArt and then blended with a PhotoShop Elements4 filter(colored pencil) that gives it the final effect. God’s descent perhaps?

Rabbit, an animation by Sclah Film could well be the weirdest animation you have ever seen. It won the Best Film At The Cutting Edge Award at the British Animation Awards 2006. Bizarre and original, it delivers a strong message at the end of the animation. 1 videoclip after the jump.

This is a really cool javascript trick that you can try out. Paste the following code into the address bar when any website with images is loaded. It is best used in uniform size pictures such as the one in Google Images.

Thanks Anita Bath of Say No To Crack for sending this in. Halloween falls in just a week time and here is a list of the worst halloween costumes for 2006. Ranging from Milk Carton Head to the Shark Costume, these are definitely some of the worst we will be seeing and they can be purchased online or in stores as well.

The ‘Free Hugs’ movement started by Juan Mann created a world sensation. He has been giving away hugs in Sydney, Australia when he saw that people were miserable and thought that he could brighten up their lives. One of the people he hugged was Shimon Moore, the lead singer of the Sick Puppies(the guys who sang the background song ‘All The Same’). The city council tried to ban the movement but after acquiring a petition campaign of more than 10,000 signatures, the ban was called off. With more than a million views on Youtube it was one of the most viewed. This sensation has seen it spread to other countries as well such as Israel, United States and Korea. Funny Town has a collection of 25 crazy inventions ranging from cactus baby soother, dracula teeth, dress funnel to modern chinese chopsticks. Some of them could be practical but most of them are downright crazy.
