This was circulated via email and it shows how photographer Hans van de Vorst took a photo of another photographer at the Grand canyon, Arizona. At a depth of 900 metres, this guy suddenly leaps to the other end using only a single hand with the other hand holding his tripod and camera. 5 more pics after the jump. Source: Snopes |

Well at first it seems that the guy was taking his leap of faith but the truth is that Hans van de Vorst took the photos at an angle which easily fools his audience. The photo below shows the popular photographic spot and he would not plummet down 900 metres although the ledge still looks pretty steep.
