A snow angel is a man-made depression formed in an area of snow in the shape of an angel by moving the limbs back and forth. On February 17th, 2007 the world record for the most snow angels made simultaneously was broken with 8,962 snow angels in Bismarck North Dakota. The previous record was 3,784 students held by Michigan Tech University. A marvelous achievement and do check out the high resolution photo after the jump.
