Was it a mere coincidence that Disney’s Lion King bear so much resemblance to Kimba The White Lion by Osamu Tezuka? Even the names ‘Simba’ and ‘Kimba’ comes so near. Disney’s line goes like this ‘Our people never heard of Kimba before The Lion King was released’. Animation buffs believe that Disney ripped off Kimba to create The Lion King.

Photographs of Richard Gere kissing Shilpa Shetty at an Aids awareness event in Delhi splashed acrossed front pages of newspaper in India. BBC reports that an Indian court in Jaipur has issued an arrest warrant for the Hollywood actor calling it an ‘obscene act’. Shetty defended Gere that it was all done in good humour reenacting a scene from his film ‘Shall We Dance’. Check out the kissing incident clip after the jump.

A scam on the internet sold lambs marketed as poodles fleecing thousands of Japanese people. The flocks of lambs were shipped over from the UK and Australia and since poodles are rare in Japan, not many people have an idea how they actually look like. They were sold at 630 pounds which is about half the cost of a normal poodle.
