For those of us who can't afford a sculpture, she has a beautiful book available with lots of sketches, photos and fascinating anecdotes. Heather Jansch and Deborah Butterfield (independently, on different sides of the planet, beginning well before the internet...) both created horses from driftwood - but for me - there the similarity ends! For those of us who can’t afford a sculpture, she has a beautiful book available with lots of sketches, photos and fascinating anecdotes.

Therefore Heather Jansch's work becomes a 'copy' of the original artist and this is a distraction. It is hard for all artists to find their own voice but Ms. Jansch needs to seriously consider how this body of work hurts her more than establishes her.
