Chinese Fake Brands
|
Fake brands are rampant in China sold with unreasonably low prices at marketplaces. Foreign companies have frequently complained of trademark violation. China recently has also cracked down on fake brands by closing down business retailers in order to build a better positive image to outsiders. Check out some 19 fake brand pics after the jump. |

I just have one question. Can any one tell me if these fake products actually work?
I’m going to china in two weeks. i don’t mind all of the fake stuff, as long as they work, are high quality and are cheap. It sounds bad but these designer brands make so much money any way. Plus I don’t have any money to buy real stuff. ON A SERIOUS NOTE !!I just hope that somehow we can get some ethically made stuff (by the way i know that most of these things are made unethicaally,. The only question is do we still by these things or do we not?)

I agree with hawaiin chick. The Chinese do this to sell to Americans, after all its all about status in America. I have a friend from china in this buisness and the main reason he does it is because his country doesn’t pay their people like they should. But he makes high quality items that are a mirror image to the real product! I bought a coach purse from him, and even the coach store itself couldn’t tell its fake. You all say why don’t they make their own brands? Because it’s not going to sell, they are selling to the UK, US, and Canada, and they want Gucci and Prada. not something they can’t read.

I was very surprise when I saw the same memory chip labeled with chinese brand.. Totally same color, same shape, but labelled with different name.. Oo my God, I can’t believe i bought fake product.. Chinese doesn’t care about US brand name. Latin letters is as puzzling to the Chinese and Chinese character to Western eyes. So they don’t care if the phone Iorgane or Iphone. They probably look the same. LOL..
Piracy is good for China, now….rather than giving money way to the Western countries you might as well spend it in the country. Once China become a full fledge developing country on par with the West, then piracy is bad, but for now it works.

Yes, as Chinese I hate these fake brands too. Never bought them–dont love brands.
Funny that you can see so many foreigners who travel to China are so eager to buy these fake brands.
Some friends talk with me about these: Are western people really morally superior to the Chinese people? You can find your answer in those well-known fake brand markets–see how many western faces are there, looking for fake LV bags or things like that.

Dear All,
Please DO NOT trade with Eage Living Company Ltd. They are Scammers known to the British and Chinese consulates in London and Beijing/Shanghai/Ningbo. We have it known from the authorities that they have tried to scam two other companies before us.
They asked to us to 100,000 SKU’s. This raised a few suspicions as nobody purchases that amount upfront in our business. We finally settled on a 15K SKU’s split into 12 monthly shipments against a Letter of Credit with 30% contract value up front.
Tuesday before the Friday we were to fly out to China to sign off on the contract we discovered through our Due Diligance that they were a fake company who were going to;
a) Ask for fees etc to notarise the contract in advance (probably their lawyer was some relative or fellow scammer and not a lawyer)
b) Letter of Credits from China can not be Irrevocable and Confirmed as all banks are owned by the Government and thyerefore can be cancelled at any time.
c) Address and Telephone Numbers do not exist (see below)
d) There website is all in English. By law they have to display everything in Chinese aswell.
e) Their turnover was shown in US Dollars not local currency, however, they said that their bank was mainland China and Hong Kong (access to foreign currency)
f) Trading / Business / Import Export Licence transpired to be fake.
Before trading with any customer, Chinese or Not through Alibaba I would suggest running a due diligence through the embassy / consulates.
Why did we not discover these things before planning our trip? One of our trusted Friends in China had not updated his Spam filter so our new email address had got blocked!

These chinese fakes are annoying….the quality is shit but they try to use brand names…..trust me their “replica handbags” for example are made of poor construction, cheap pleather (not real leather), and are soooo fake from a mile away…yet they try to put a Prada label on it….why don’t they just start their own brand like “Shin Wah” lol!!! and stop trying to pass their shit work off as quality european leather goods..when in fact they clearly are not

A lot of people will say all things coming from china that are ’so cheap’ are fakes…. But look around you at say 80% of all goods that you have bought from say ‘reputable dealers’ these are actually made in china!!! our goverment are ripping us off & dealers on the high street are cashing in on us big time by getting people overseas (china) to make these at low prices & then putting warnings out that they are ‘fake’ to steer us away from grabbing these at the prices that they get them at… I know there is a lot of fake stuff out there but come on guys.. pick up your mouse you got in your hand it is probably made in china???
so how much would that of cost here!!! £25 say.. & possibly only £6-7 in china!!!! Just a thought for everyone

I hate these criminals who give a bad name to Chinese brands and to the China image overseas! Good point from another comment is why not create another brand or be creative and challenge the established ones. Criminals are usually run by underground societies who only want to earn quick money at the expense of consumer confidence on Chinese products home and overseas.

Nuke - that would be cool. I would buy that in preference to Nike.
Once the Chinese understand brands the West is in big trouble….or the part of the West that has been making easy money selling overpriced goods is.

This is what happening today very soon they are taking over the world because of ignorant people how china is big danger to world. biggest terrorist country. Millions of non chinese origin being prosecuted and their organs beings extracted and selling worldwide. In bible known last most evil nation is obviously China. Whoever patronize china they patronize evil country that destroy the world
China plans to take over the world economically. after they get enough power they will follow their de-population project. Which has been tested several times, like deliberately putting toxic contents to toys. Electronic devices to create infertility as FDA found most china electronics contains high level of lead which cause of decline of sperm quality. Food products contains different hormones cause man sickness.
Also china has developed many type of viruses including new versions of H1N1. China companies have most efficient (!!!) vaccine formula for H1N1. If you are not moron you will know how come they have the vaccine formula before everyone?
WAKE UP PEOPLE.
