Ames Room Optical Illusion
|
This is an implementation of a classical optical illusion called the Ames room. In this setup people or objects appear to grow or shrink when moving from one corner to another. The trick to this illusion is that the true shape of the room is trapezoidal and the apparent cubic perspective overrides the perception of size constancy. |
Check out this page for more explanation on the Ames room. Ames room in 1 videoclip after the jump.
