Extreme Beauty Makeover Transformations

I’m not sure whether to believe that the before and after pics are the same person but if it is, that plastic surgeon did one hell of a good job. I have my doubts because for instance the second pic had crooked teeth but turns into perfect white teeth after the transformation. Another one would be the last pic who had her busts upsized by at least two levels. Check out 5 more pics after the jump.

From looking at these makeover pictures, all these women had drastic changes done to them, all connected to improving their physical beauty. Some of these changes are so drastic that I can’t even believe some of the changes. Massive amounts of money must have been put into changing these woman and only to become more what? Beautiful? Closer to societal norm? What even is beauty these days? Our society has put so much pressure on fitting in and looking better than the next person sitting next to you that we have paid thousands and thousands of dollars to fit the expectations of what people expect and want to see, that we have shoved inner beauty and personality away. Our society today has altered these people because the need to be accepted has grown so much more in the past decades and being just average or themselves nowadays do not appeal to anyone. One main difference I noticed in these transformation pictures was that every “before” picture, the woman did not have any make-up on, however, in all the “after” pictures, all the women had a good amount of make-up, covering their so called flaws they thought they had. The changing of ones physical looks to appeal to others have really started to become more needed but this idea of changing oneself has always been around. For example, in the Bluest Eye, written in 1970, an African American girl wishes she could have blue eyes like the white girl her mom cares for. Pecola, the girl that wishes she had blue eyes, believes that if she had those pretty blue eyes, she would be more attractive and have more attention. However she also thinks that people would pick on her less and she could be more authoritative. She believes this because one day a white girl came over to her as she was getting picked on and the boys immediately left after the white girl told them to leave. The changing of the blue eyes is more for other people and how others will perceive her than for herself. Having blue eyes is not going to change who you are. You are still going to be the same height, have the same body. For these woman, I feel that the change is for other people, what others want to see these days. They have forgotten about their normal selves and are changing their hair color, the straightness of their teeth and adding make-up to become something appealing to others. People should not take outer beauty into account so much and not set the society norm at such an unrealistic height, where women have to feel the only way to be normal is totally change from what they naturally look like to someone totally different .

I really think that these transformations are awsome! I truely beleive that every woman has her own sex apeal she just needs to find it and work with it, and not against it. No you truely cannot change your eye color but if everyone had the same eyecolour it wouldnt be a thing of beauty anymore. I really would love to help women find there inner goddes (which we all have). I think that there is a number of things that you can do to help yourselves. I myself have been considered one of those women who others think is pretty. I also know that behind closed doors I can feel very unnatractive! The difference is that I was taught how to look like a pretty girl. You need to study books that teach proper colors for your hair, makeup, clothes. (Even the paint in your home should make you look great!) Also the proper shapes of clothing to make you look like a physicaly fit girl! There are many tricks out there to do this. I also do not believe that it is purely “shallow” reasons to look good. It opens a lot of doors, makes you feel good about yourself, and life is too short to go around unhappy! Don’t you agree? You can do it, and you can do it well, but it is a dicipline just like any other!

This is a bit dated, but I must respond to #10. Most people want to look nice, lovely, attractive. If it is not drastic (going from a golden brown, curly headed lady to a washed out blond, with stick stgraight hair, for example) most women and even men would consider doing that, especially if the effort is safe and affordable. Yes, there is a standard of beauty that is basically white, European thin woman with enormous breasts, but the reality is tha men like pretty women: tall, short, brown, yellow, black ; thin, curvy, and even out of shape, with curly, straight, long or straight hair. There is someone out there who will be attracted to most women. Most of us know that we have to fix ourselves up. Just like setting the table for a nice meal, instead of eating out of styrofoam at a cluttered table, or ironing your jeans and wearing a nice clean shirt when you go on a date. Most of us men and women — know that a good looking woman with brains and a sense of humor is as fascinating or maybe even more than a drop dead gorgeous high-maintenance person with issues.
