The New Seven Wonders of the World is a proposed alternative to the Seven Wonders of the World, organized by a Swiss corporation called New Open World Corporation (NOWC). The final list was announced on July 7, 2007 in Lisbon, Portugal, in the Estádio da Luz, SL Benfica’s stadium at 9:30pm (local time). Voting closed on July 6, 2007. The selection was made by free and paid votes, through telephone or online. 6 more Wonders of The World after the jump.

      Tyler… the Pyramids is the only remainder of the original (or old) 7 Wonders; so it is listed as a special honor wonder instead of among the 7 new wonders. There is actually a long political story behind the decision… I don’t want to bore you with that here.

      I believe the underground river at puerto princesa, phils. must be included in the new 7wonders of the world, including tht of chocolate hills at Bohol, phils.

      i love the machu Picchu Cusco of Peru it’s so beautiful,..and it really deserves to be included on the new seven wonders of the world,…and also the taj mahal agra of india….nice,..because it’s the only one remaining from the previous seven wonders,,,it’s relly the best art of the Muslims… but as a Filipino i also want our beatuiful tourist spots here,..that could also be included on these seven wonders of the world,…like the undground river which is located at the heart of Puerto Princesa in palawan,…and many more,…..for all, who wants those beautiful spots here in the philippines,..to be included here,… kindly vote for it,..thaks//

      the taj mahal of india is so beautiful in our muslims culture…it is the no.1 wonder of the world…
      i’m just sad because the rice teraces of the phils. not include in the new 7 of the world…
