Miracle Man Peng Shulin Walks Again

Peng Shulin met with an accident and his body was cut into two in 1995. It took a team of more than 20 doctors to save his life. Bedridden for years, doctors had little hope for him to live normally again but recently, the China Rehabilitation Research Centre in Beijing found out about his plight and devised a plan to get him walking up again. |
They created a casing for his lower part of the body shaped in an egg and used two bionic legs for walking. Mr Peng is learning how to walk with his new lower part and he is delighted with the device. 2 more pics after the jump.
