Kevin followed his heart of love of animals/nature as a young child. Wish I had done the same.

As a toddler, I cried when they burned the once “live” Christmas trees en masse in the town square. At 21 I was getting petitions signed to end the slaughter of the white baby harp seals.
NOW, even Sir Paul McCartney can’t stop the slaughter.

I am in awe of this man/human. Cats being my favorite of domestic animals, I am in awe of every living thing in nature. This intuitive, old-soul of a man is doing the gift he was given and the world will change because of his presence in it.

Any un-married older brothers, Kevin.???? I’m serious here.!!!!

God will always be with you.

I always wait for your show on nat geo wild, although I have to see it over and over again but I never get bored. Actually i want to be able to visit you, but I do not know how. @biggunsar, you talk utter nonsense. I volunteer for Kevin Richardson and have seen the reaction of these animals when he comes near. Animals do love, and they do miss a person. I have even seen a lion mourning one of his own, so please do not tell me that they don’t feel. Unless you have really worked with an animal and given an animal the kind of love that only an animal lover can give, then you will never understand the animal. And yes, they are ultimately wild and can at any given time kill, but there is 100% respect there. Kevin does not push into his animals space, if they show that they are not in the mood, he respects them and leaves them alone.

Well as much as I absolutely love this man and the work he does, I too am afraid for him. I do not believe this can go on forever, it just isn’t that way of the world, all it takes is one little bitty mistake and he could be attacked. Even if four or five are just playing with him but get too rough, that could be dangerous for him. I really hope that he is the exception to the rule and he goes on to do this for the rest of his life. Good Luck Mr. K. and may God be with you!!

I watch your programs on TV and I admire you. I am passionate about wild animals and wish to become a Wild Conservationist. I am 17 years old and in grade 11. I have been trying to volunteer at wild animal reserves with no avail due to my age. I live in South Africa and hope to be part of your team one day. I share your vision and I know that I can learn a lot from you. You are just amazing and blessed to be able to interact with the animals like you do! God bless you, your wife and son for many years! I have lions and even some of my friends they have, but I never seen someone like
u ! Even if I go to any show I don’t see something even close to whatever you doing !!
I hope to see u one day.
I love this animals and I take care of some of them by my self, but I don’t go close at all
Just with cheetahs which I razed !
I hope 2 learn 4om u one day ! all the best 4 u and god take care of u .

Anybody ever check out “Fatal Attractions?” Good old Kevin is sitting on a time bomb waiting to go off and will assuredly join the ranks of the “Grizzly Man” and our famous Vegas tiger trainer who now exists in a semi vegitative state. Hwy, I suppose ir’s cool to hang out with lions and hyenas if you are a certifiable idiot with little or no regard for life or limb, I certainly hope that when the inevitable happens it too will be caught on film as an abject warning to those who like to play with fire.

This troubles me. I’ve seen the movie Born Free a gazillion times. As I recall, both Joy Adamson and her husband, were eventually mauled to death by lions, and they deeply loved cats. These animal lovers seem to live and die the same way.
The fable of the frog and the scorpion is a perfect example for the wild players, for which the frog allows the scorpion to ride on its back across the river, promising the frog that it wouldn’t sting him.
When the scorpion stings the frog, t……he frog asked why he would sting him, now they would surely both die, the scorpion answered ‘I couldn’t help it, it’s in my nature’

I love the approach that you have taken with these animals. It seems more of a cooperation than domination. You dont make them submissive to you as I see very often. Its a relationship that is valued on both sides and unlike what I have seen in other animals eyes to thier human counterparts, I and so many other can see that you are a part of thier family. What a high honor that must be. You are so blessed to have a connection like that.

i’ve come across many animal lovers but a daring person like Kevin, there’s no other and peopled say that they love the animals but they feel scared to get closer to them but the real love can be seen in Kevin just by looking few of his pics with animals which behave like domesticated animals i just want to say he is awesome…
