The Sultan’s Elephant

The Sultan’s Elephant is one of the biggest piece of free theater and it stopped the traffic and captivated everyone who saw it. An earlier post, ‘The Giant Girl Doll‘ is a part of the Sultan’s Elephant show as well. The elephant is made mostly of wood and operated by over ten puppeteers using a mixture of hydraulics and motors. Weighing as much as 7 elephants, a replica was built in Nantes France in 2007. A spectacle on a huge scale, this is one of the most stunning shows which is created by the Royal de Luxe - a French mechanical marionette street theater company.
