Miss Arab World 2007 - Bikiniless Beauty Pageant

Women from across the Arab world came together to compete in the Miss Arab World 2007 contest in Cairo and this is the second time it is being staged, the previous one being in 2006. This beauty pageant is one of the most conservative, without a bikini in sight. Miss Bahrain, Wafa Yaqoop (left) is crowned the winner. For some reason I feel they’re more beautiful than the plastic expected artificially enhanced pageants I see in USA.
I think what I like about them is their naturalness. And the fact that they’re comfortable not stripping down to their last bits of clothes.
I know it’s strange coming from me! But hey I’ve been awake for the last 23 hours so my mind is going wild

I think there is no need for Beauty Pageant. Its like having a Islamic/ Halal Wine. Why bother in the first place.

What a wonderful change, a beauty pageant with women who don’t have to strip down to a bikini to think they are beautiful. A womans real beauty is her face and her conversation, the rest of her body is a bonus.

woman they always be slave to man, and they dont wake up about it, they still sleep, i find it stupid what they are doing, if you put a jean and you show the form of your ass, take off the hijab, you just lie to yourself

their all beautiful but, seroiusly, whats the point of wearing a hjab and …ugh forget it. i totally against the idea of ‘beauty contests’
btw their not wearing ‘punjab’ fashion. punjabis come fom india, these are arabs from the middle est n north africa.

I realy admire the arabs for their beauty. Is there any ugly arab? No there arn’t. And all those people with a negative response. ‘BEWARE THE WRATH OF MIRAJ’. The arabs are a nation better than any they are Gods chosen people. And God choses not exept the BEAUTYFULL and PURE.
FROM THE EAST AND WEST ARABS ARE THE BEST.
