Orang Utan Test Of Intelligence
|
In a problem solving experiment, this orang utan was clever enough to use water as a problem solving tool. This experiment was derived from the story of a clever crow which threw stones into a pitcher to elevate the water to a level where the bird can access it for drinking. 5 orang utans were used in the test and all took 9 minutes in average to figure it out. |

This shows how intelligent some non-human primates could be. 1 videoclip of the orang utan test after the jump.

This is simply astounding. It makes me wonder what goes on inside the orangutan’s head.
