I was browsing through the goldfish street in Hong Kong (what else do you do when you’ve got to kill time) and found a magazine about competitions for fishtank designs like this. A lot of the top entries were from Japan and I’m sure this bloke would have been amongst them.

Takashi Amano was a big inspiration for me, and the main reason I converted my freshwater aquarium over to real live plants. I also try to use his methods of balance in my reef aquarium.

The art is stunning, much like landscape photography but the scenery makes it unique. I don’t think that anyone has every emulated this art style. Keep it up
