this makes me consider intentionaly comprimizing my box to se if i can replicate the results!

ERM BeeKeeper
I can confidently say that just regular beekeeping is a safe way to observe and learn about bees most beekeepers don't use gloves or even vails for lack of a need to I have rarely been "oooh stung" by a bee. I've had my hive's for years now in my backyard and nobody even notices they'r their including us until its time to harvest beutifull natural honey we had one harmless swarm the first year due to our lack of exspirience and we were the only ones who noticed our giant dog didn't even realize it was happening five yards away.

weird statements like this are the reason people are missinformed about bees!
they are the reason why a city bans beekeeping because of unfounded feer
and why a country that 50 years ago had over 500 diferent species of bees and thousands of practising beekeepers is now reduced to almost losing by exstintion unquestionably the most important crop polinator on earth and one of our most preciouse gifts that we can not live without!!!

shame on you

people and bees have a symbiotic relationship and have lives harmoniously for as long as we have both existed

if you are reading this and you are affraid of bees you have been missinformed!

we cannot live without bees!
bees are not predatory insects
bees do not sting unless they have no choice because it literaly kills them to do so!

they are safe and enjoyable to keep in your back yard

and humanity depends on them!!!!

please support local beekepers! you need them more that you might have ever considerd!

honey from your supermarket is heated and filtered killing all its natural complexity and benificial traits and then shiped from who knows where cheating you and smashing local providers who wil give you a honest product that beutifull and good for everyone

DONT GO TO HEALTH FOOD STORES
if you can help it! even though this is a muched improved more sound product
if you can go to the source find the neerest local producer
usualy found at your neighborhood farmers market and buy from them

support local agriculture

get informed

this isnt a fanaticle shpeel

this is real and important and you will benifit tremendously from gaining only the knowlege of where the food you feed your family comes from

Seeing bees making hive in a jar is one of a kind phenomenon. This is safe way to observe and learn about bees on how they work. It is indeed a great art!

pwnt #51, I came here because I came across the bee thing and thought it was cool, but also found the mathematical discussion interesting. Its related -- what is the problem? People with linear, one-track minds are basically disappointing examples of humanity. How is it that people surivive who are unable to link different perspectives?

Anyway, Lullabelle, thank you for sharing the details of your intense sexual relationship with Fibbonacci, it was enjoyable reading. Keep that baby hole strong!

Someone asked how the bees got in and out. There is a hole in the top but that's just a ventilation hole -- the bees couldn't pass through it. They entered through a hole in the jar base jar and the main hive. As the season ended, their numbers declined and at night they would cluster down below in the main body of the hive, so it was an easy job to remove the bell jar, full of honey which provided a friend with a nice centrepiece for his Christmas dinner table. I'll be experimenting further this season as I've acquired another jar. See www.propolis.co.uk

To "Fibonacci"...... You demented SCUM, the real Fibo is dead. I bet you wish you were Fibo, so you would have the true memory of stuffing your love meat all the way inside me. For your information, my baby hole is very muscular, and it takes hold of a stiff hog with vise like force. I remember Fibo would put both of his feet outside my vagina and try to pull his pork pole out, but he couldn't! Not until I released it. I also remember that during sex, Fibo loved to have me reach around and grab a clump of his anus hair. Just as he orgasmed, I would rip out that smelly snarl of hair by the roots. Fibo would scream, a combination of his orgasm howl, and the agony of having his anus hair yanked out. I still have that hair in a jar at my house. I think I have enough to possibly knit a sweater.
