Dog Loyalty In The Streets

Touching scene of a dog which stood by its companion that was hit by a car on the streets. The crowd were intrigued by its display of loyalty and its pretty sad to see this kind of affection even if it came from animals.
3 more pics of the canine sad scene after the jump.

“The crowd were intrigued by its display of loyaltyâ€
But apparently too uncaring and moronic to try and help. Can’t tell you how pissed off these photos make me.

Emotional people are useless.

Unemotional assholes are useless.

Grubb is useless. There are times for emotion and there are times for a lack of emotion. Guess which category this situation falls under?

And why wouldn’t this situation deserve any emotions…?

Someone should pick up the dog and the dead one to some where safe instead of taking pictures. GOD DAMN stupid human.

I have a feeling you can’t do much to help a dead dog.

You can move the deceased ofe off the street so the uninjured one don’t get hit for starters….duh…..then possibly find it in your heart to perhaps find a home for the other one, if that makes sense at all…..duh…..

Why take pictures. Why not pick up the puppy and take it somewhere so the one that is still alive won’t get hit?

Well lets just be thankful that these pictures allow everyone a forum to express their ever unflinching altruism. None of you were there (i think..). For all you know somebody was slowing traffic to avoid hitting the dog, for all you know its owner was there or somebody actually did find a home for the other one. So get of your fucking high pedestels and stop misusing these pictures as a way to display your “heightened” morality.
Why take pictures? “I’ll believe it when I see it” Bam, human nature. A picture of one starving sudanese child might inspire millions to come to the aid of the entire country. On that subject, I guess all of the people who would swoop in, snatch the dogs up, and fly away like superman are all in the peace corps or amply donating to charities, i’m sure you’re all integral players in making your communites better places. Right?
Or do you just go on the internet and look at pictures?

You know Marc I did think about replying with comments on human nature, how people view images on the net and how I use similar pictures of animal suffering in my job to publicise animal charities and manipulate money out of pockets. But rereading your post I can’t help thinking that you’re a troll, more concerned with pissing people off rather than having a discussion.

Fucking cell phones. Stupid people.

I was more so talking about the way people were responding within this forum. The whole “I would help these dogs not take pictures!” thing. If anything i’m supporting you manipulation,
Def down to be the troll under (in?) your “bridge”

There’s a chinese idom suitable for this:
XIU SHOU PANG KUAN
The dog makes me sad, but the people makes me sadder. 4000 years of history DID NOT HELP AT ALL.
But putting some relativism into this, they eat dogs. So for me to understand it, its like seeing a pig beside a lump of pork on the road. Then again, how can one eat something that socially reflects a desired value of any culture? AND THEN AGAIN, its was the philosophical type like me, now, who first claimed dog’s meat to be the tastiest. AH SCREW it! Our history sucks while all we do is fantasize about champions.

I think it’s pretty clear from the second image that that live pup isn’t gonna let any one move it, or it’s mate.
just an observation.

Its fucked up times when something happens that requires a show of humanity, and people end up showing their camera phones instead.

Guys. Look up “Bystander Effect” in wikipedia. If someone is in trouble, and there is a crowd around, they’ll all expect someone else to do something - and then no one will do anything. It’s happened before, and it’ll happen again.
Also, it’s pretty pointless to say you’d do something for the poor doggy. For all we do know, something was done, or it was already dead, or the friend was being protective and would let no one touch it. We weren’t there, so we can’t really pass judgment.
If you do think you’d do something for the doggy that died pointlessly, alone, and in trouble, just remember the thousands that are doing that just now- in the streets, in shelters, in neglectful homes. The dog in the picture is dead, but there are many more like it, and you could save them.
Hell, you could just donate money to a rescue group, or a no-kill shelter. Or donate time. Or, hell, adopt a dog.
