Kid’s Drawing Reenacted Using Professional Photography


An interesting Korean project that reenacts children’s drawing and turn their fantasies into the real world. This photography art is the work of Yeon Doo Jung who is one of Korea’s outstanding photo artist.

how come all the other pics seem to match the childrens’ drawings well, but not the first one? the poor kid who drew that must’ve been pretty disappointed

The funny thing is that the kids were probably drawing images of things in their head they weren’t able to *actually* capture on paper. I wonder if the kids look at the photos and say, “I wasn’t trying to draw THAT.” lol

I find it interesting that most of the characters in the drawings are smiling, but most of the models in the photos are not. Great concept though, and well executed.

These are pretty cool – similar to a piece in a very early “Mad” Magazine that involved building exact models of kids’ drawings of things like planes or trucks.
