These are pretty cool – similar to a piece in a very early “Mad” Magazine that involved building exact models of kids’ drawings of things like planes or trucks.

I find it interesting that most of the characters in the drawings are smiling, but most of the models in the photos are not. Great concept though, and well executed.

The funny thing is that the kids were probably drawing images of things in their head they weren’t able to *actually* capture on paper. I wonder if the kids look at the photos and say, “I wasn’t trying to draw THAT.” lol
