Stephen Wiltshire – The Human Camera

Human Camera

Stephen Wiltshire from London is also known as the Human Camera. Autistic, he is a star among savants. He spoke his first words only when he was 5 and at 11, he could draw a perfect aerial view of London after one helicopter ride.

In this short excerpt from the film ‘Beautiful Minds: A Voyage into the Brain’, Wiltshire takes a helicopter journey over Rome and draws a panaromic view of what he saw entirely from memory.

I don’t know. People don’t seem to care anymore. Especially about prodeges. Stephen Wiltshire is DaVinci without sketches. Amazing at the least.
