World’s Strongest Tire

The world strongest tire is the 13 foot 70/70-57 Bridgestone Firestone Tire that weighs nearly 15,000 pounds, the same as a school bus. It has 48 layers or plys and costs $175,000 each. It has enough surface area of plys to cover an Olympics swimming pool. The average passenger tire consists of only 2 plys.
