How A Wig Is Made

A look at how wigs are made. One early wig making technique was to use goat skin to simulate the scalp and then hook hair into it using an embroidery needle. It is a tedious work as the wig master uses a minimum of 50 hours to add the thousands of hair strands onto the scalp to make the wig.

The wig needs to look as real as possible so it is handmade as it will look more authentic.
