‘Zoom’ Picture Book by Istvan Banyai

Philosophy Drawing 01

Zoom by Istvan Banyai is a provocative wordless volume with illustrations that slowly zoom out as though the viewer backed away from the previous one. It is interesting to watch the transition in each zoom out perception and thus makes it a great picture book.

You can get the full 64 page book at Amazon for $11.89. Istvan Banyai has also created another similar picture book called ‘Re-Zoom’.

I found these pictures while searching for other family members…my last name is also Banyai. These are amazing! The creativity and imagination needed to see the world this way is inspiring.

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! My mum bought them for my little sister to take them to school and it was a big hit with the teachers there. Now they do a subject on it!
