Houston Art Car Parade

The Houston Art Car Parade 2008 is a major event that drew 284 entries and about 200,000 spectators held on May 10. A yearly event which is the first and largest art car parade in the world has been a Houston tradition since 1988. The entries include cars bicycles, motorcycles, roller skaters and many other motorized and human-powered vehicles decorated in various themes.

Ironically, that very night, the leader of the art car parade was killed by a drunk driver who plowed into him. The bastard who ran him over only got 3 years in prison.
