Mankind’s Historical Moments Reenacted Using Lego

Some of the most important historical moments of mankind such as the Tienanmen Square (above), moon landing, Diego Maradona’s hand of god reenacted using Lego sets. An inspiring piece of work by Balakov that would improve anyone with an interest for history knowledge even though the Lego humans seems a tad too happy.

Aside from the profanity and insults, I agree with Crassy. Arts and politics go hand in hand. You cannot separate politics and the arts…the arts are political. I think this collection is actually a great set of photographs, especially the poignancy of the Vietnam execution with the smiling Lego men.
