you said “proving that he was not suspended on wires. ”
how did you figure that he’s not using wires when the video says that he’s using wires?

David was using wires but in his flying act he tried to show the audience that he was not such as using hoops as well as the glass cover lid. This video tried to show that he was indeed using wires and his hoops and glass cover lid are mere illusionary acts. If there was anything wrong in my English do correct me hehe

“Debunked”? You don’t think the audience of a stage magician really thinks it’s magic do you?

Sam,
Cris Angel is merely an illustionist. Most of this tricks are television shows, wich are all cameratricks, wich mean that in real life it would either look less confincing, or not real at all (meaning actes audiences).
An example is his levitation. He is using Balduci levitation (google it), and after the audience is gone, they film him again but this time with a large wire, but leaving his upper body out of sight, and with a dummy-man with the same color jacket so that it looks about the same.
Then the start of Balducci, the reaction of audience on Balducci, then the wire -later filmed) part, and then the ending of the balducci again.
That easy.

I see that most people don’t get it. We all know that its all an illusion, but what’s great about it, is the people’s ingenuity to do what seems to be impossible. One of the driving force to create a magic act is to imagine something that is impossible to do and use one’s intellect and ingenuity to do just that. That’s the beauty of magic to me. Its still awe inspiring to me to see these amazing magic acts even though I know full well that its just an illusion. Its all for our entertainment so just enjoy it.
