Youtube Office Headquarters

We have seen Google’s Mountain View Headquarters as well as Google’s office in Zurich. This time around let’s take a look at the office of Youtube, the popular video sharing website which was acquired for US$1.65billion in Google stock. Youtube’s office space is located in San Bruno California and even have a lovely large swimming pool. Definitely one of those offices you would love to work at.
Check out more of Youtube’s office with 10 more pics after the jump.

I’ve always wondered how youtube pays for their servers/office space/electricity, considering I don’t remember seeing any ads whenever I watch a youtube vid (on youtube.com) so how do they support themselves?

umm… youtube should get a way better office. Google’s kicks the shit of it. I mean, there’s goddamn FAKE PALM TREES? Talk about gei.
September 10th, 2008 at 11:10 am
Well, youtube is owned by Google, so obviously their influence has spread… still looks pretty sweet

Google’s office is better, but you’re wrong – those palm trees are indeed real. here in California it’s usually more work finding a fake palm tree than just going and buying real ones.

Man o man…that double wide conference monitor would look mighty fine on MY desk!
Notice there’s no one in the pool…I can only wonder how often someone DOES go in the pool. When I think work, going for a quick dip isn’t the first thing that comes to mind…
However, the Star Wars office would be just fine by me as well!

I have upload videos and am still waiting for them to be processed, over two days now. Can’t find customers service to help and now find that my coment responses to other videos are restricted. Discovered many other people having the same problem with the processing time and finding help. Extremely dissatisfied with service.

You Tube, What is the big idea of kicking Alex Jones off your network, is showing xxx-rated filth and every imaginable trash against the respectable U.S. citizen serve you better? If your corporation can’t stand the TRUTH and the pressure it brings with it, then it’s time to get out the business your in. Why don’t you be democratic about your decision and take a vote from your viewers and subscribers about bouncing Alex off the net and see the numbers which don’t lie, after all we live under a democratic administration.
There are still a lot of decent God fearing people out there who care about this country and its future and are strongly passionate and inflamed in having one of there own treated this way. The rumble of the storm has just started, I hope your souls are waterproof.
Remember, Justice is blind in only one eye and her other eye is looking at you and all of the rest of the mislead power hungry censors out there who think their doing a hell of a job.

Hello You tube
I have uploaded over 300 videos and have over 5,000.000 view my channel was Lovuian
about 20 hours ago my account was phished …I made the mistake of giving my username and password to a official looking You tube saying that my channel had a virus and it was going to shut down You tube’s servers…I was stupid and fell for it. I have had my channel since 2007
I tried call the You tube number and got only a automated system. I called Google and got a automated system. I got automated emails but what is very scary to me when I look at your pictures above …”Where are the PEOPLE” Empty excercise machines a empty pool …it is empty
Someone stole my channel http://www.youtube.com/user/lovuian. I love You tube and think it Fantastic but now after the theft and nobody is there to correct it …I see the reality of it
Please look into it
Thanks

Criticism of YouTube (taken from the Wikipedia.org)
Main article: Criticism of YouTube
Copyrighted material
YouTube has been criticized for failing to ensure that its videos respect the law of copyright. At the time of uploading a video, YouTube users are always shown a screen with the following message:
Do not upload any TV shows, music videos, music concerts or commercials without permission unless they consist entirely of content you created yourself. The Copyright Tips page and the Community Guidelines can help you determine whether your video infringes someone else’s copyright.[32]
Despite this advice, there are still many unauthorized clips from television shows, films and music videos on YouTube. YouTube does not view videos before they are posted online, and it is left to copyright holders to issue a takedown notice under the terms of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Organizations including Viacom, Mediaset and the English Premier League have filed lawsuits against YouTube, claiming that it has done too little to prevent the uploading of copyrighted material.[33][34][35] Viacom, demanding US$1 billion in damages, said that it had found more than 150,000 unauthorized clips of its material on YouTube that had been viewed “an astounding 1.5 billion times”. YouTube responded by stating that it “goes far beyond its legal obligations in assisting content owners to protect their works”. Since Viacom filed its lawsuit, YouTube has introduced a system called Video ID, which checks uploaded videos against a database of copyrighted content with the aim of reducing violations.[36][37]

Hi I don’t know if I am contacting the correct people but, I seem to be having difficulty in uploading a video. After pressing Publish on your live upload screen, the video is still in the process. I know it is there because my picture is up and it wasn’t before. It is one of my shorter videos in length but one of the worst to upload. It is just music as all others are.
Can you give me feedback. Thanks.

Until I find Youtube’s address so I can mail a complaint, here goes. I was very disappointed to see people leave comments on a video of Haiti, that clearly showed a person in absolute distress, she was on a hill top and ALL AROUND her was her city or what remained. At the time of the video, all one could see around the mountain, where the videographer was situated, was a plume of dust.
I can’t believe youtube does not police or even allow the community to police this. It should not be allowed. What kind of world are we creating for our kids – growing up in a world where nothing is sacred, where we can and are allowed to laugh, toy and put down others even while their people suffer.
I am very angry and upset that Youtube and Google sit by and do nothing about this nor allow mechanisms for the community, or elect members of the community to police the site in some way.
I am very disappointed.
Does anyone know where I can write to google or youtube. I need an address to mail a letter.
Regards

I was watching 90 percent of the videos of prince and was so disapointed of the audio tracks had come out, I feel this is deliberate sabotage and criminally slanderous. One this man is a
minority and only a racist could have done this with malicious content. How could this site allow this horrible advertizement and get ratings and get funding. Fouthly, I’m surpriced the musician
union hasn’t got in contact with your C.E.O.. I myself will be in contact about this matter. I would
hope a correction be best in order A.S.A.P.
