This message is meant for marine2171 mainly and also others who share his views. As a Marine who was deployed twice to Iraq and once to Afghanistan I can say with complete confidence, your a phony. You were never in the marines, nor been within 3000 miles of Iraq. To comment on your point about whether we thought about the ccivilians and their deaths. Your god damn right we did!! Its people like you and those in the UN, who didnt seem to worry about their suffering while countries like France and Germany who bought oil and accepted bribes, while neither food or money made it to the people. If you were actually there and talked to Iraqi's, youd understand that their biggest fear was we wouldnt invade. After we did, their biggest fear was we would run away. Once we beat the sunni's and shia militias into submission, preventing civil war while all the elightened elites and douchebags like yourself said and hoped we were losing, those 2 groups didnt fear each other anymore. They knew we would protect them both. Now they have had elections and infrastructure rebuilt, things are going in the direction of democracy. So, yes we thought about them and guess what, we actually helped them. Now all these democratic revolutions, in the middle east are because of what we and the Iraqi civilans did.

For all you people who have been saying that these soldiers are fighting for false freedoms, people that hate each other, and for nothing more than their loved ones tears, these people have fought and DIED for you to even have freedom of speech. In some places you wouldn't be able to speak so freely and maliciously about the government and military, so the next time, THINK about what you're saying and be thankful for their service and sacrifice.

Last Picture is very Sorry for me to see it

After War is over.. it always leave us Hates, Tears, Suffering, Sadness & Etc

In other way it wasting a loot of sources such as a great amount of Money, Natural resources, etc

I Think war is the wrong path to be chosen as the none sense reason of Freedom that they may achieve from war!

What percentage of Iraqis opinion & Agree about this war? Make their Life better or even WORST?

Iraqis Philosophy "HURT NO ONE, SO THAT NO ONE MAY HURT YOU" << as a proof Iraq in Original is a peaceful country that love Peace!

This case study provides insights into how the military interacts with host-nation governments, the United Nations, the State Department, and national embassies while attempting to solve today's complex problems. The author reveals many pitfalls in security sector building and international team-building that the U.S. is trying to avoid today

It really is bad to see our veterans come hm after and unnessary war like this. I just read a story on vet2vetspace.com about an American soldier from Edmond, Oklahoma who was convicted and sentenced to 25 years in the death of an Al Qaeda terrorist in self-defense, February 2009.
After reading the full story I was truly appalled. My heart stopped and I felt that if I did not do my part to show support and get his story out, then I was no different than the ones that convicted him. The terrible part about this is that, it was only after the trial that defense lawyers learned that the government's own forensic expert agreed with the soldier’s testimony that it was self-defense.

Read the full story at Vet2Vetspace.com. We have to take care of our own if we don’t look out for those that keep us safe why should they do the same for us.

The war in Afghanistan is a total waste, just like Iraq. No, I ain't flying the flag. Why should I?? It's just a symbol of imperialism. The only freedom you GI's are fighting for is CORPORATE FINANCIAL freedom. The British couldn't win, the Russians couldn't win (we never should have armed the Muslim crew) and WE won't either. Just more kids and older folks killed. And for what??

If you chest-thumpin', bible-totin', flag-wavin' sunshine patriots were sincere about troop support
we would never have issues such as Walter Reed, a perpetually broken VA, and an infinitely skyrocketing suicide rate. And for you others, those whose comments seethe with contempt,
while demonstrating your hopeless GENERATION-X stupidity and misspellings, there ain't a hell hot enough for ya'!

Everyone I am typing among the behalf of most the doomed comments.
These men and women know what they are fighting for.
They know what will happen once they put them self into that position of signing up and "fighting for another foreign country's freedom"
America, needs to get itself back together before it worry's about any other country.
I mean it's economy is falling apart
not to mention the place alone.

I for one could say I have been to Iraq summer 08'
I walked the place like a damn ghost.
I couldn't believe the things I saw.
The people.

People there are missing homes.
Kids.
The lives they used to have.

Their own grave yard isn't big enough
People have to be buried on top of each other.
Bloody hell.

This war isn't a just another war.
This war outrageous and those soldiers know damn well.
Honestly, people do you think a war is all ponies and rainbows?
NO!

Guns and blood + gore.
That's war for you.
SO fuck everyone who says they have sympathy for those soldiers
because I honestly can not say I do.
And I am not HEARTLESS
but REALISTIC.

get an idea of the real story.

did you notice the third picture of the woman holding what is supposed to be her arm? she obviously put one hand behind her back and the other arm was for someone else who was hiding behind her... you can see the shadow of the shirt. by the way, the last picture is absoulutely ridiculus. plz excuse my spelling.

i've read all the comments and i've come to a conclusion. did you know that america shouldn't stuff its nose in others peoples buisess? by the way those pictures are obviously fake... just to make you feel sorry for them. There were way more iraqi casualities... most of them women and children. anyways, in the end saddam didnt have any "weapons of mass destruction". man, what a waste of innocent lives...

you know what? i think if obama takes our troops away from the war, the only thing thats gonna happen is that the fricken iraqis are just gonna attack us AGAIN. more inosent people are gonna die then war is gonna just have to start again. hmmm.....i know... the government is just puting us in war to control the fricken population. well i guess the least i could do is thank the troops that have put thier lives at risk for our country. in all acualities, we do not live in a free country. the government controls every thing we say and do. they control how we spend our money, the way we live, and how many people live in this crazy place. i dont know... we have a foocked up government in a foocked up world. just go out and live life well ya got it.

I see a lot of people saying "we are fighting war that has no point" and that we shouldn't feel sorry for the veterans because of this... I feel that we should feel even more sorry for them because they are getting hurt for no reason... if there was a good reason then it's expected to have casualities... it's like not feeling sorry for someone walking down the street and getting hit by a car, but not really :)
