Tigers And Pigs Nurture

Tiger And Pigs 01 Tiger And Pigs 02

This is probably one of the most touching scenes that defies the law of nature where tigers and pigs are being nurtured by each other and vice versa. Imprinting the early childhood experience could well make their relationships long lasting but it would be difficult to judge when the natural instinct of the tiger may take over.

The first part shows abandoned tiger cubs nursed by a pig at the zoo in China. They are most probably to be separated once their milk dependency on the sow is depleted. The cubs were rejected by their mother and the cubs rejected bottle feeding therefore the zoo caretakers took to the resort of adopting them to a sow which accepts her three new sons.

For the second part, there has been a collection of photos of the touching Sai Mai the tigress and her six piglets at a zoo in Thailand but this video footage shows even deeper of their bond. The reason why Sai Mai readily accepted the piglets as family was because it suckled as a cub from a sow and grew up with a litter of piglets.

7 Legged Hermaphrodite Lamb To Be Destroyed

7 Legged Lamb

This 7 legged hermaphrodite lamb in Nwe Zealand with polymelia (a birth defect involving limbs where the affected individual has more than the usual number of limbs) would probably be put down by vets after discovering that a part of of its bowel is missing and thereafter was unable to pass feces. Polymelia is rare among both humans and animals. Veterinarian Steve Williams who suggested the lamb to be euthanized believed that an error during embryo formation had caused to the lamb’s 7 legged dilemma. This is a condition that occurs once in several million sheep and there is another case of a lamb with six legs in Belgium as well reported last year.

Friendship And Love Defined In A Single Photo

Friendship And Love Hamsters

A lovely pic that shows the definition of love and friendship in a single photo. It definitely is photoshopped since the hamsters used in the photo are one of the same but it is still a touching photo with a great message from the artist.
