Flying cats? Granny Feng claims that her cat has grown wings which was initially just two bumps but started to grow quickly and after a month there were two wings. They even contain bones and Feng’s explanation was that the cat sprouted wings after being sexually harassed (I would love to grow wings too after being sexually harassed). Genuine or hoax? Boy vs Hogzilla 2 – Alabama, 11 year old boy used a pistol to kill the gigantic wild hog as shown in the above photo. Since the news came from Associated Press Writer Kate Brumback, it should be pretty authentic except that the photo taken above was exaggerated. The boy is not resting his arms on the hog as depicted but instead kneels at a further distance away making the hog much bigger than it seems. However it still is one big animal. The huge animal was shot eight times with a .50 caliber revolver and chased for three hours through hilly woods before it was finished off with a point-blank shot.

In waters off Sulawesi island, Indonesian fishermen have caught a rare coelacanth, which was among the world’s oldest fish species. They were though to have died off around the time dinosaurs got extinct until one of them were caught in South Africa in 1938. The fish is referred as a living fossil by scientists.

A scam on the internet sold lambs marketed as poodles fleecing thousands of Japanese people. The flocks of lambs were shipped over from the UK and Australia and since poodles are rare in Japan, not many people have an idea how they actually look like. They were sold at 630 pounds which is about half the cost of a normal poodle.

The cuttlefish is one of the most intriguing creatures on our planet where in the blink of an eye it’s skin can change colour, pattern and even shape (thus called the Kings of Camouflage). It is probably the closest thing to an alien. The cuttlefish is a mollusk, soft bodied animals without a spine and its close cousins are the squids and octopuses. |

This is how the aftermath of the fight between a dog called Inca and a porcupine. Apparently Inca did not know how to quit when encountering the porcupine.
